Made & Worn launching 16.03.18!

Say hello to Made & Worn! Custom, easy to follow knitting patterns that fit to your individual measurements, gauge and personal style!

Launching 16th March 2018, Made & Worn offers every knitter the opportunity to create their ultimate project from a selection of garment shapes and stitch patterns. Each pattern is generated from the knitter’s personal gauge and body measurements, to ensure a great fit! Made & Worn saves your progress as you go, so you can pick up right where you left off without worry!

The Holberton mitts are inspired by Frances “Betty” Holberton, the inventor of breakpoints in computer debugging and one of the six original programmers of the first general-purpose electronic digital computer.

Written for DK weight yarn, the Holberton mitts are the perfect beginner pattern. Worked flat and then seamed, leaving room for a thumb hole, the mitts begin and end with 1x1 rib framing your choice of either stocking stitch or double moss stitch. Work them in a soft and fluffy mohair-blend to keep your hands toasty warm or show off the stitches with a smoother, bouncier fibre!

Height: Approx 18cm

Materials: approx 80 m / 88 yds DK weight yarn

Please note: a gauge swatch is required so please allow extra yarn for your swatch.

Needles: 4mm / US 6

Notions: tapestry needle
