Hole Lotta Love!
1 x Knitting Pattern for Hole Lotta Love!
“You can’t wear a scarf in the Summer!” a very excitable Parisian waiter told me once. “Oh, but I can if it’s got lots of holes,” I replied…at least, I think that’s what I said in my rather unpractised French! For the scarf did indeed have lots of holes and this one skein wonder certainly does!
The design consists of airy twisted eyelets that not only looks amazing, but feels light to wear. It’s a really fun, rhythmic pattern and whilst I’ve used a light fingering weight wool mix yarn for this design, it would also work well in cotton.
It’s a relaxing project, too, ideal for knitters of all abilities. So whether you’re a beginner looking for a slight challenge or you’ve been knitting for years, it’s a great pattern to knit as you’re chilling in the garden or park or whilst you’re lounging around on holiday.
Easy to style, it can be worn as a bandana or around the shoulders. But however you choose to wear it, one thing’s for sure: this is a perfect summertime accessory that you can wear all year round. And once you’ve finished your first version, I’m sure you’ll be adding a few more to your wardrobe!
Happy Knitting!
Dimensions (approx. after blocking):
Triangle W: 150cm (59 inches), L:75cm (29.5 inches)
Yarn Requirements:
1 x 100g/425m (465yds) of 75/25 merino/nylon light fingering weight. You can also use 4ply mercerised cotton, but with larger needles (I would suggest 5.5mm) to achieve the look or size required after blocking.
