This pattern is to make a crocheted lacy jar cover / cozy with attractive sun motifs with an open centre. They are joined together in rings to go round the circumference of your jar.

You can put a tealight or candle in it which looks lovely on your table but remember not to leave burning candles unattended.

Additional rows of zig zags include shaping to contour the top and bottom around the jar.
