This is a very easy and very quick knit with a 3 light DK worsted weight yarn worked at a relaxed open gauge (work with larger-than-called-for needles). It is worked bottom up with set in sleeves that creates a loose and boxy shape. It’s great for confident beginners looking to master some new techniques, but is also a nice project for more experienced knitters looking for a mindless knit.

The Holi sweater is worked from the bottom up. It begins by working the body in the round. You will then split for the sleeves and work back and front separately.
The shoulders are then joined using mattress stitch. Sleeves are worked over stitches picked up around the armhole and worked in the round.

Needles:Circular needles:
10 mm (US Size 15) 40 and 60 cm or 80 cm 16, 24 inches or 32 inches
Longer needles can be used for the sleeves if you use magic loop method.

Gauge: In stocking stitch using 10 mm US 15 needles.
10 sts /9 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.
The gauge/tension may vary from person to person, as this loose is very loose and easy to wear the gauge/tension is only approximate.
