This holiday hat has presents, trees and candy cane stripes knit in festive red, green and white. I’m excited to start rocking this for the Christmas season (after Thanksgiving, of course), and hope you can enjoy making some fun hats, too!

This pattern includes instructions and a chart for:

• Adult size (22 in.)
• Children’s size (20 in.)

You’ll need needles ranging from US size 5 to 7, depending on your gauge. Any soft worsted weight yarn will do. You need three colors: green, red, and white.

Alternate colors that may be fun: gold, wintery blues and whites, etc. Excited to see any variations some of you may come up with!

This pattern requires experience with colorwork, although I think it is probably easy enough for a first go if you’re open to trying out the technique!
