This is a RECIPE not a pattern--you can adapt this recipe to different yarns (sock yarn, DK, worsted) and different patterns (stripes, stranded work, plain stocking knit). These Easter eggs can be made as plain or fancy as you desire.

The written directions are complete on Page 1, Page 2 has 3 color images to give you some ideas--Printing page 2 is optional.

NO specific directions are given for any design.

The size of the eggs will be determined by yarn, gauge (a tight, dense (vs a loose drapy gauge is suggested) the number of stitches, and rows. Recipe includes directions for a range of sizes.

Pattern included a hanging loop, but this is easy to omit.

Pattern suggests an eyelet/noose type cast on --but this is optional.
