This holiday gift bag is a quick knit that will dress up even the simplest of gifts. The bag requires only one 2.5 ounce skein of cotton. You can even do a combination of colors to use up scrap yarn. Or, use more yarn and make the bag taller by adding more repeats of the lace.
I’m using one bag as a yarn-cozy. I have a stitch counter attached to the outside, while the yarn cake rests inside, protected from rolling around.
