Winter is upon us, the holidays are coming, Christmas lights are reflecting on the snow at night ― that is what I imagined with the Holiday Night Lights Scarf. It is slightly slanted to contour your shoulders and keep your neck warm. It is easy to make, cute, festive, and totally customizable: choose your color(s) and your length! Jazz it up or tone it down to suit your personal style.
This is an advanced beginner level pattern, requiring knowledge of basic crochet stitches and the ability to change colors.
The pattern is written in standard US crochet terms. It comes in one size; however, the size may be increased or decreased, as desired.
Dimensions:
22 “ (56 cm) x 44” (112 cm)
Here’s what you’ll need:
Hook: 6 mm
Yarn: At least 550 yards (503 m) of worsted weight yarn.
You may use any combination or number of colors you like. I used:
- Main color: Scheepjes Stonewashed XL Moonstone (246 yards)
- Alternating band color: Scheepjes Stonewashed XL Blue apatite (82 yards)
- Bobble color: Sewhappycreative Winter’s Rainbow aran (182 yards) and Scheepjes Stonewashed XL Garnet (82 yards) -- simply because I ran out of the first colorway.
