Poncho is worked in two identical pieces – front and back.
Finished piece is 57” long. To shorten length deduct beginning cast on number by 3’s. Six pattern rows is equal to about one inch.
Shoulder seams are sewn together leaving approximately 12” (30.5 cm) for the neck opening.
Neck collar is finished off with two rows of crochet. You can finish the collar knitting just pull stitches evenly around entire collar area and knit for two rows.
Neck collar is worked after main poncho is completed.
