Holie Mittens
The Holie Mittens were inspired by holly leaves and traditional nordic stranded colorwork knitting styles. I wanted to create a wearable piece of art that can bring warmth in the fall and winter - and that would be fun, quick-to-knit holiday gift.
The mittens are worked entirely in the round from the bottom up. Each thumb is worked by picking up stitches in the main mitten and working those bottom up in the round. All charts given in this pattern are worked from the bottom up, right to left.
