HOLLAND HAT

With the Olympic games in Korea coming, I thought it would be fun to make a supporting Holland Hat. I used some of my old designs to do this. The Royal Blue tiles are back from the Royal Dutch shawl and I used a Dutch landscape on the rim from a present I made for a retirementm for a colleague in 2017. An I added something new, a Japanese bubbly pattern that adds some texture to the hat. And of course, the colours of our national flag are present with a reference to the orange streamer used for the birthday of the King, Queen and Princes Amalia in the form of an orange tassel.

In can be made of scraps of yarn, and 1 used about 80 grams of Holst Supersoft yarn in the colours Red, white, dark blue and orange and to make it more interesting also light blue.

MUTS HOLLAND

Met de Olympische spelen op komst leek het mij leuk om een supporters Holland muts te maken. Ik heb hierbij gebruik gemaakt van wat delen van eerdere patronen. De tegeltjes van de Delfts Blauw sjaal komen terug, het Hollandse landschap van een cadeautje voor een collega die met pensioen ging in 2017 en iets nieuws een Japans bubbeltjes patroon wat ook na het wassen en blokken net een klein beetje textuur toevoegt aan de muts. En uiteraard eindigend in de Nederlandse vlag met oranje naad en een oranje wimpel (kwastje)

De muts kan gemaakt worden van restjes wol want in totaal heb ik 80 gram Holst Supersoft gebruikt in de kleuren Rood, wit, donkerblauw, oranje en om het iets interessanter te maken licht blauw.
