The Hollie hat is a simply textured slouchy hat with a ribbed brim. The slip stitch ribbing allows the brim to stretch to fit a variety of teen and adult head sizes.
This hat is ideal for tonal or heather bulky yarns that have a slightly fluffy texture to them. Tightly spun, solid yarns will not give quite the same look in this pattern.
Yardage includes making the pom-pom for the top. If you are using a contrast pom-pom, you can get away with a tiny bit less yardage.
