This unisex scarf is compiled of a fine mixture of knits, purls, basic cables and twisted stitches to create a very textured, yet tidy rib-like fabric. Use a smooth yarn for best results of this highly textured piece.

Pattern requires the following skills: cabling, twisting stitches.

Yarn
Approximately 400yds of a smooth worsted weight yarn.

Used in: Cascade ‘220 Heathers’ (100% wool; 220yds/200m per 3.53oz/100g skein); 2 skeins.

Sample uses col 2425.

Needles
4.5mm/U.S. size 7 and 5.0mm/U.S. size 8 or needle to obtain gauge. Pattern is worked flat, so any length circular or straight needles may be used.

Notions
2 stitch markers to mark the edge sts.
Cable needle.

Gauge
20 sts = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch on larger needles, after blocking.

20 sts = 4” (10cm) in pattern stitch on larger needles, after blocking.

Finished Measurements
