The Holly & the Ivy Socks are knit from the toe up with a berry-like stitch on the front of the sock and a lace leaf panel on the front side of each sock representing the ivy.

The pattern has is written for four sizes, small through to large. It starts with a wedge toe and a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however the heel and toe can be changed to your own choice. They are knit using the magic loop method but can be adapted to suit dpns.

Sizes:
S 56sts 7”/18cm foot circumference
M 64sts 8”/20cm foot circumference
M/L 68sts 8.5”/21.5cm foot circumference
L 72sts 9”/23cm foot circumference

Foot and leg length can be easily adjusted.

Needles: 2.25mm (US 1) circular needles for magic loop or dpns (or size needed to get gauge).

Gauge:
36 sts per inch x 48 rows per 4 inches using 2.25mm needle
