Skill Level - Intermediate
Materials:
Worsted weight/ Size 4 yarn
Holly Body Color - Big Twist: Value - White (White)
Holly Leg Colors - Big Twist: Value - Deep Red (Red) and Varsity Green (Green)
Holly Berry Color - Big Twist: Twinkle - Red (Glitter Red)
Holly Leaf Color - Big Twist: Twinkle - Green (Glitter Green)
Jolly Body Color - Big Twist: Value - Deep Red (Red)
Jolly Leg Color - Big Twist: Twinkle - Green (Glitter Green) and Big Twist: Twinkle - White (Glitter White)
Ornament Cap Color - Big Twist: Twinkle - Gray (Glitter Gray)
3.5 mm Crochet Hook
21mm or 18mm Safety Eyes
Poly-fil stuffing
Embroidery Floss - Pink and Black
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers (optional)
Terms:
mr - magic ring
slp - slip stitch
ch - chain
st - stitch
rnd - round
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
blo - back loop only
inc - increase (2sc in the same stitch)
invdec - invisible decrease
Notes:
Invisible decrease - put hook through the front loops of two single crochet stitches, yarn over and pull up loop (two loops on hook) yarn over and pull through two loops.
Bobble Stitch - yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, draw loop back through stitch, yarn over pull through 2 loops. Repeat until you have 6 loops your hook. Yarn over and draw through all 6 loops.
The body of this pattern is worked from the top down in a continuous round. Legs are worked bottom up in a continuous round. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the rounds.
