Holly Christmas tree decoration in 8 ply

This is a lovely way to use up small amount of Christmas coloured yarn. It doesn’t matter if the holly leaves are different greens or the berries are different reds. They look lovely on the tree. A great way to make them sparkle in the Christmas lights is to combine the yarn with gold or silver thread and knit them together.

Suitable for a knitter who has mastered the basics. There is a little bit of sewing the pieces together but the beauty of this project is that any small errors in the knitting won’t be noticed.

Yarn needed- Small amounts of green and oddments of red 8ply yarn.

Needles and other things needed-4mm needles, wool needle and scissors
