For stiff leaves, it’s better to use cotton yarn as it doesn’t stretch as much as acrylic or wool. If you opt to use a lighter or heavier yarn, use the smallest hook possible to maintain the stiffness of the leaf.

You can substitute the crocheted berries with 1cm felted balls, buttons, or beads. However, ensure that you thread them onto your green yarn before starting the leaf using a needle (a sharp one for the felt balls).
