The Holly Leaf Garland Scarf is a quick project to grace your neck -- and your home -- for the holiday season.

The connected holly leaves are knit from worsted weight yarn, and punctuated by pearl berries.

The garland construction begins with a provisonal cast-on. The holly leaves are knit in succession, linked together, with a pointed end on the last holly leaf. The scarf is then worked from the provisional cast-on, down the other side of the scarf! The berries are sewn on after the scarf has been blocked.

The sample was created in white, but green with red berries would be very festive! The amount of yarn will vary, depending on how long you wish to make it.

A special thank you to Lesley Arnold-Hopkins, who graciously allowed me to adapt her version of holly leaves.
