This hat was designed for confirmed Tennessee fan, but many other logos could be substituted in the stockinet blocks using duplicate stitch or intarsia.

The hat is knit except for a single crochet edge along the bottom and sides of the ear flaps. “Squiggle” ties are made with chain and single crochet stitches.

The hat is knit in the round, but if you did want to use intarsia, it is a simple matter working it flat and adding a selvage stitch at either side of the beginning/end marker. Then the hat can be seamed in the back.
