The pattern as written uses three balls of the Lana Grande. It only takes a very little bit of the third ball, if you make a few rounds less in height, it will only take two.

The modifications for the brown hat (last photo) will be written in the pattern shortly (after the Holidays). So if you want to make that version, please be patient. I will send an update through ravelry to all the people who already bought the pattern, once the addition is made, so no worries. You won’t miss out. <3

The hat is slightly felted by hand, not in the machine. It can be felted a bit more than what I have done, but I wanted to keep the stitches a bit visible, to show off the crochet nature of the hat. If you want to have them not showing, you will have to felt it more and probably in the machine. Be aware: it may shrink more in the machine, so please do a swatch first.
