After seeing knit patterns and attempting a few myself I decided to write my own crochet pattern. Living in the plains states it has been a huge hit for newborn photo shoots.
One skein of black and one skein of white will make multiple hats. But I find it is easiest to wprk with multiple skeins because of the color changes. If you only have one skein of a particular color available you can section off a few yards into it’s own ball to work off of.
