Holt’s Cowl is a Fair Isle style, stranded color work pattern inspired by my wonderful son, Holt. Using three colors, this pattern creates a beautiful tree motif, topped with North Stars. The pattern is written for two yarn weights: light worsted and bulky. There is a companion hat pattern for sale through both Etsy and Ravelry.

Cowl Sizing
Adult Light Worsted
Width: 12”/30 cm
Height: 9”/22.5 cm

Adult Bulky
Width: 11.75”/29.25 cm
Height: 9.5”/23.75 cm

Both worsted and bulky weight sizes are designed to be a fitted, performance style cowl. The cowl should wear loosely around the neck, but be at a circumference where a coat easily zips or buttons over the cowl.
