These socks are worked from the ribbed cuff down the lace motif leg
and into a reversed slipped-stitch heel flap. A standard gusset is
worked at the same time as three textured hearts are worked on
the instep stitches. The stocking stitch foot continues into a wedge
toe. The house stitch pattern can be worked either from a chart or
written instructions, whichever you prefer.
