This pattern is very close to my heart. During the testing process of this pattern, the Russo-Ukranian War started and so many Ukrainian families lost their homes, had to leave home and so much more behind. I wanted to dedicate this pattern to them and I am donating a portion of the proceeds to UNICEF - Protect Children in Ukraine Organization. Their mission is to deliver safe water, health and emergency supplies to the affected areas and also to provide psychosocial care to children traumatized by chronic insecurity, abuse and violence, and assisting children separated from family.

This pattern is written for 3 different sizes: Adult, Child and Baby for Worsted weight (Category 4) yarn.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner

Method: This pattern is knit in the round from the brim up.

Supplies Needed:

US Size 7 (4.5mm) and US Size 8 (5mm) 16” circular needles
Yarn:
Worsted - in 2 contrasting colors - 125 yards total for adult size/ 98 yards for the child size and 56 yards for the baby size. (category 4 - Malabrigo Rios, etc.)

Optional: Double pointed needles for easier decrease
Stitch marker
Scissors
Yarn needle
Optional: Pom pom and tag
