Fun fact: I was a varsity athlete throughout high school. I grew up running track and field, particularly the sprint (100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and 4x100 meter relay). As such, homecoming was a really special time for me during my high school years and is super nostalgic for me now. Memories of the homecoming football game, homecoming dance, and fun times with friends still bring a smile to my face (for more reasons than one). I designed the Homecoming Cardi to pay homage to the letterman jackets we had in high school, with a modern twist. I hope that you enjoy making your very own!

The Homecoming Cardi is an intermediate pattern for an open cardigan featuring mosaic knitting, short row shaping, and some other fun skills to master.

Ease: 2-4 inches positive ease at bust; 0-2 inches positive ease at upper arm. This ease is built into the sizing, so please check the schematic for finished measurements according to size.

Testers got gauge on US Size 6 needles up to US Size 8 needles, so swatching is imperative for this pattern.
