Homeland Mitts
This pattern is a part of my thesis project Homeland Collection, which is a collection of five knitting patterns designed for the wool of Finnish landrace breeds. The whole collection is also available as an eBook.
Homeland Mitts are mostly 2x2-ribbing with a lovely cable detail. These fingerless mitts are worked from wrist towards the fingers. They feature a modified indian thumb gusset for a great fit. The pattern is mirrored on each hand. The English pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the cable.
