Homeland Shawl
This pattern is a part of my thesis project Homeland Collection, which is a collection of five knitting patterns designed for the wool of Finnish landrace breeds. The whole collection is also available as an eBook.
Homeland Shawl is a huge and cozy shawl to wrap yourself in. It’s knit as an asymmetrical triangle starting from one sharp corner and increasing on one side. The shawl has a cable panel running down the side and the main body is a simple texture pattern. The size is easily altered, as you can end at any point you’d like. The shawl has a 2 stitch i-cord edging all the way around. The pattern is chart based, but there are written versions of the charts provided.
