Homemade Love
A rectangular dishcloth, knitted flat, from the bottom up. The piece is framed by a garter stitch border, while the body features a reverse stockinette stitch background with a lace insert.
Put two of my dishcloth patterns into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket. An online version of the chart and its row by row instructions, with a progress tracker by Stitch Fiddle, is also included.
A versatile pattern with simple elegance. A quick knit with mostly basic knit and purl stitches, disrupted by a single column of lace that elevates it into something truly pleasing to look at.
And with easy adjustability it can be so much more than a dishcloth: a placemat, a blanket, a table runner - pretty much anything.
