• Ch: Chain
• Sc: Single Crochet
• Dc: Double Crochet
Special Stitches (click for video):

• BPDC: Back Post Double Crochet

Notes:
• For Beginning Chain and row 1, the first 5 skipped Chains count as: 1 skipped stitch, 1 foundation chain and 3 chains for first Dc.
• I created this pattern in two styles so that 1 entire skein of Soft or Swanky yarn would used for the Body of the cowl. 1 additional skein of yarn is needed for the Border rounds. This pattern may easily be made using other types of yarn in the same weight category to taste.
• The following tutorial shows only a fraction of the pattern design worked. Please use these images for support to replicate the row you are on, not necessarily for stitch counting.
