This pattern is beginner-friendly, and uses the cable knitted cast-on.
Stitches you need to know:
Knit
Purl
Make 1 (right and left)
SSK
K2tog
Knitted cast-on

Pattern includes size chart with bust measurements for sizes S - 3XL. Positive ease allows for choosing how fitted you would like your final garment to be.

If suggested needle size does not produce correct gauge, simply choose the size needle that produces correct gauge, and switch to needle 2 sizes smaller for ribbing.
