Homestead Sweater (Baby)
The Homestead Sweater Baby is suitable for confident beginners looking to learn some new techniques or intermediate knitters. The front and back panels are knit flat from the bottom up, with the front panel using intarsia method to create the sweet farmyard image. The rest of the sweater is knit in one colour. Once the front and back panel have been seamed at the shoulders and sides, DPNs (or magic loop method) are used to knit the collar ribbing in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up for the sleeves which are knit in the round.
