This little bat is made using mercerised cotton threads and a soft alpaca yarn. Various stitches form the shaping of the wings. Finishing touches include pencil shading around glass eyes and the distinctive nose-leaf.

The finished bat measures approximately 11.5cm (4½in) wingspan and 6cm (2⅜in) from top of head to tips of toes.
