Honey is a top-down raglan that’s knit in the round – miles of stockinette with easy shaping, stripes and pockets to keep you on your toes…
Finished Sizes
32¾ (34¾, 36¾, 38¾, 40¾, 42¾, 44¾, 46¾, 48¾, 50¾)“ bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 32¾”, modeled with little to no ease. Sweater is intended to fit with about 1” negative to 1” positive ease.
Yarn
Quince & Co. Finch (100% american wool; 221yds (202m) / 50 g): #123 honey (MC), 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7) skeins, #153 iceland (CC), 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5) skeins.
Needles
Size 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ and 29” circular (cir) and set of 5 double-pointed (dpn) each.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
Markers (m); stitch holders; waste yarn; tapestry needle.
Gauge
24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles
32 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in 1x1 Rib on smaller needles
To save time and ensure proper fit, please take time to check gauge.
Notes
This sweater is knit in the round from the top down following the stripe pattern outlined in the Stitch Guide. It has a raglan armhole, waist shaping and inset pockets. Although approximate lengths are given (please see schematic for more details,) they are subject to change given the requirement to end on a CC stripe.
