Honey For The Bees
’Honey For The Bees’ is an infinity scarf, with directions for adding in an optional Möbius twist, knit in fingering weight yarns.
One size fits all, and it’s easily modified - remove stitches in multiples of eight for a narrower scarf, add or remove rows for a longer or shorter version.
Gauge is 31 stitches by 34 rows in honeycomb pattern (post-blocking). For a quick gauge check before you being, I got 30 stitches by 40 rows in plain stockinette stitch using the single ply (pre-blocking) on the same size needle. Both knit in the round.
The example I knit used two 100g skeins of a Merino/Lurex blend (approx. 365 metres each) and 14g each of 17 different neon shades. Yarn was dyed by myself and kits are available from BonaYarns.com
Feel free to substitute to create your own spin on the scarf - it’s a great way to use up leftover fingering weight yarns, or maybe use other gradient yarns/sets.
