Errata

The Pattern

Honey Locust requires just one 600-yard skein of Brigantia, so you can indulge in one of my favorite yarns and have a beautiful shawl in no time! It’s knitted from the top down, with increases that create a gently-curved, wide crescent shawl. The lace panel is set into alternating bands of simple stockinette and Trellis Lace. It’s not complicated to work, and you’ll find a comfortable rhythm in the knitting.

Skills Needed

Knit, purl, basic lace techniques (YO, increases, decreases). Some concentration is needed to work the lace panel, but overall this is a good project for a somewhat adventurous intermediate knitter.

Details

The finished shawl is approximately 78”/198cm along the top crescent edge and about 23”/58cm deep at the center back.

Additional Materials

Needles: Circular needles at least 36”/90cm, US7/4.5mm, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, two blocking wires, and a tape measure.
