A simple combination of familiar stitches come together in a mesmerizing diamond lace pattern to create this beautiful table runner.

The dining room table is a sacred space. At the table we share meals, celebrate, and mourn. We laugh together and we cry together at this one shared space.

My inspiration for this piece came from the honey locust tree. This paradoxical tree has nourishing seed pods, fragrant blooms, and terrifyingly huge thorns. It’s symbolic of both beauty and pain; life and death.
