During Fall & Winter, I adore wrapping up in my biggest, squishiest shawls. The Honey Moss shawl combines squishy worsted weight wool with big honeycomb cables that transition into a magnified Horseshoe lace. Once finished it begs to be wrapped up in!

DETAILS
This shawl is knit sideways, increasing along one edge to create an asymmetrical shawl. The first half of the shawl is cables, which then give way to lace once we have built up a larger stitch count.

Wingspan - 75”/190.5 cm
Depth - 43”/109 cm

Worsted Weight Merino/Linen Blend

SUGGESTED YARN
For this shawl I chose a merino yarn blended with linen for the warmth and softness of the merino and ultimate drape of the linen. This worsted weight yarn creates an incredibly squishy and generously sized shawl to wrap up in!

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Larger Needle (for the cable portion of the shawl): Size US 9/5.5 mm - 32”/80 cm circular
Smaller Needle (for the lace portion of the shawl): Size US 8/5 mm - 32”/80 cm circular
(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.)

NOTIONS
Stitch markers (optional), cable needle, row counter (optional), tapestry needle

24 sts & 20 rows = 4”/10 cm
