OPPSKRIFT

Honey romper strikkes nedenfra og opp i nydelig honey struktur. Vrangborden strikkes i vridde masker som gir en fin markant maskedefinisjon. For å få finest mulig overgang fra vrangborden felles det av med italiensk avfelling, samtidig som maskene til selen settes på en hviletråd. Helt til slutt strikkes selene i vrangbord som på bol. Romperen skal være noe romslig.

Strikk gjerne en prøvelapp før du starter, for å sjekke at strikkefastheten stemmer. Annet garn som kan være aktuelt er f.eks Tynn Merinoull, Alpakka Silke og Tynn Line fra Sandnes Garn, eller annet garn som gir strikkefasthet 27/10.

THE PATTERN

The Honey Romper is knitted from the bottom-up in a lovely honey stitch pattern. The ribbing is worked in twisted stitches, creating a distinct definition for the edges. To achieve a smooth transition from the ribbing, you’ll bind off using Italian bind-off technique, while the stitches for the straps are placed on a stitch holder. Finally, the straps are worked in ribbing, similar to the body of the romper. The fit of the romper should be slightly roomy.

Before you begin, consider knitting a gauge swatch to ensure that your tension matches the recommended gauge. Other suitable yarn options include Tynn Merinoull, Alpakka Silke, and Tynn Line from Sandnes Garn, or any yarn that achieves a gauge of 27 stitches and 10 centimeters.
