This little cardi was designed for my little girl to wear over her romper or dress on cool Summer and Autumn days, playing outdoors at the park or on the beach, when an extra little layer is needed. A bonus is that each of the 4 sizes can be made from a single 100g skein of fingering weight yarn. It has a loose fit, with lowered armholes, and fastens with one button at the front neck, allowing it to hang loosely open. I’m not a fan of sewing up my finished knitting (and I’ve yet to meet someone who is!), so this cardigan was designed to be knitted all in one piece with minimal seams.
