The Honeybeams Cowl is the perfect pattern for that special skein of speckled, tonal or variegated fingering weight yarn in your stash. I designed this to show off both the dimensions of both the colorway and the stitch pattern, all while draping beautifully and being super wearable!
This cowl is made up of bands of two different one-color brioche motifs, both of which produce interesting, honeycomb-like fabric. In fact, the name for this cowl comes from that honeycomb pattern; in French one of the terms for honeycomb is “rayon de miel”, which if you translate poorly would be “beams of honey” or “honeybeams”!
