Honeycomb Baby Blanket
This sweet blanket is just the right size for a new baby. If you want something special for your own little one, or a baby shower gift that will be cherished for years, this snuggly hexagon-shaped afghan will “bee” perfect!
I used an H hook for this project, but it would also look great with an I or J if you want it a little bigger and fluffier.
For the middle stripe on the border, I used the same Okie Wheat as I did for the hexagons. However, it would also be cute to create some contrast with a white- or cream-colored stripe, or personalize for a new baby with pink or blue.
I use my own method for joining the hexagons which I describe in detail in this pattern. However, if you have a different joining method that you prefer, that will work great as well! Just make sure you include the Border Row on your hexagons.
If you run into any questions on this project, please contact me via my Etsy shop or Ravelry. I can’t promise I will answer right away, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
