This kerchief is made with the honeycomb brioche stitch.
The procedure in making this stitch is explained in detail with written instructions and two instructive internet videos.
The outcome of the work is a two layers thick fabric but yet elastic, light and very soft to the touch.
The kerchief of the photos was made with two fine yarns of multiple colors from a very clear cream and green to a more dark one with a touch of blue. However, you can choose a yarn with different weights and adapt it to your head measures and preferences taking into account the specified gauge, to obtain the required thickness.
The final dimensions are 53 cm of width (not including the straps) x 22 cm of height. It is perfect to fit on a 58 cm (or more) head circumference, and stretches out about 30%.
