Welcome to the first Shawl and Crawl for the Utah Yarn Crawl!

Honeycomb Dreams is a lightweight shawl knit in fingering weight or dk weight yarn designed to knit with friends and wear during the Utah Yarn Crawl 2022! A simple 2 skein shawl that is perfect for stash busting and designed for advanced beginners.

The mystery KAL will run for one month leading up to the Utah Yarn Crawl that starts July 9th and ends July 16th. This is a preorder featuring the PreKAL information so you can be ready to cast on June 9th when the first clue is released. Each week you will receive a new clue delivered to your Ravelry library.

By purchasing this pattern you will receive a clue each week during the Knit-Along.

Clue Schedule
May 25th – Information sheet released! Stash dive, visit your favorite LYS or snag some yarn from your favorite local dyer, and get ready to cast on!
June 9th – Cast on Day! First clue is released.
June 16th – Second clue released.
June 23rd – Third clue released.
June 30th – Fourth and final clue released giving 2 weeks to finish your shawl!
July 9th – Wear your shawl and crawl!

Gauge
Fingering Weight Version: 24 stitches by 48 rows = 4” square in garter stitch on US size 5 needles.
DK Weight Version: 19.5 stitches by 16 rows = 4” square in garter stitch on US size 7 needles.

Skills Needed
Honeycomb was designed with advanced beginners in mind. You will need to know basic knitting skills such as knitting, purling, slipping stitches, increases, and binding off. Video tutorials will be linked for more advanced techniques.
