This cowl consists of a pretty honeycomb pattern punctuated with eyelets. It is worked in the round and requires only one skein of worsted weight yarn. Simple left and right cross cable stitches are used to create the honeycombs. The result is a lovely cowl with lots of visual interest.

This cowl is designed in Red Sock Blue Sock Yarn Superwash Worsted and the colour shown here is Chestnut. It’s also shown here in one skein of Lichen and Lace Superwash Merino Worsted in Sugar Plum.

Pattern includes stitch guide, list of abbreviations, and the pattern stitch is both charted and written.

Finished measurements: Approximately 9.5 inches (24 cm) tall and 11 inches (28 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 22 inches (56 cm).

Skills required: knitting in the round, cabling with a cable needle. Stitches used: k, p, k2tog, SKP, yo, 1/2 LC, 1/2 RC.
