Honeycomb Hat
This quick, chunky hat is worked bottom up in the round with a 1x1 ribbing brim. Left and right cross cables make the honeycomb pattern. Decreases are made with K2tog and SSK stitches. Add a pompom for an extra cozy look!
Tools:
• 7mm circular needle
• 8mm circular needle
• Cable needle
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Pom Pom (optional)
Yarn:
• Cascade Grande 2020
• Optional: Chelsea Luxe Mohair held together
Abbreviations:
• K: knit
• P: Purl
• St(s): stitch(es)
• K2tog: knit two stitches together
• SSK: slip two stitches from left needle onto right needle knit wise, insert left needle into those two stitches and knit them together
• RCC (right cross cable): Slip next st onto cable needle and hold to back. K st from left needle, then K st from cable needle.
• LCC (left cross cable): Slip next st onto cable needle and hold to front. K st from left needle, then K st from cable needle.
• Rnd(s): round(s)
• : repeat what is between these signs, either for the whole round or as otherwise indicated.
