2021 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from Great Yarns!
How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 28th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!
This scarf shows the beauty of slipped stitches over Stockinette stitch as well as Garter stitch. Only one color is used at a time. High drama is created by the contrasting of light and dark colors, multicolors against solid and glistening texture over uniform background stitches.
Carrying the yarns along one edge is easily achieved by knitting the first stitch of every right side row with both yarns, then dropping the unused yarn and proceeding along row.
