Honeycomb Slip Stitch Cloche Hat
This is a pretty hat to make and also try out a slip stitch pattern. The honeycomb slip stitch is easy and looks great when finished. You need a loom that can handle a 4 stitch repeat. I used an 80 peg loom in the 3/8” gauge. You can you an x loom or even a flexee loom to finish the crown differently than how I do it. This pattern is a nice guideline and feel free to play with it. The brim part is added modularly and I used lace on the end knitted in as I went to create the lace edge of the brim. The bee applique pattern is included in the written pattern. Feel free to embellish as desired for your hat. You may need to steam the brim to smooth out your edges with the lace. Please feel free to ask questions if you have them.
