This is a pattern for a baby blanket or afghan in beautiful, textured stitch, crocheted in rounds and made with worsted weight (category 4, aran) yarn and size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook.

The finished blanket measures approximately 30 by 30 inches. About 1000 yards of yarn is needed for this size. The specific yarn that I used is Pound of Love by Lion Brand (one skein). You can easily make this blanket bigger, but you’ll need more yarn.

The skill level is intermediate.
