“Honeycomb Tank Top” is a stylish, modern crop top with a mesh-like design as its main feature. This tank top has an open weave honeycomb design between textured bands. This lacy top is made from bottom to top, is sleeveless and has a square neckline. The length of the top can be increased to make it into a tunic or a dress. It is wearable on both the front and back sides as it has the same neckline.

You can make this pullover top in the given sizes or use general instructions to make it into a made-to-measure top. This pattern is for Advanced Beginners to Intermediate crocheters. You should be able to read crochet diagrams & follow charts.

It is an easy pattern with minimal shaping and few changes and mostly repeats in the pattern. The shaping is only for the neckline and armhole edgings. So people with a fair crochet experience in crocheting garments can easily make it in a short time. However, I would not recommend it for Beginners. I have also added a lot of pictures and notes to help you along the way and if you have any questions, I am just a message away.

Suggested Yarns:
You can use any Aran weight yarn with a gauge of 16 stitches per 4” of work with a 5.5mm hook as per the gauge mentioned on the label of your chosen yarn.

If you make a made-to-measure top, other Aran weight yarns and even other weight yarns can be used. Use a yarn with some stretch to it for making a snug fit top.

You will need approximately 300-700 yds (depending on which size of top you are going to make out of the given sizes).

I Used:
Blue Sky Fibers Worsted Hand Dyes(50% Alpaca, 50% Merino; 100 yds91m/3.53 oz 100g; CYCA # 4): #2005 Butter, 3( 3, 4, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)skeins.

Crochet Hook Size:
6mm/ Size J crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions:
Stitch Marker(S)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Gauge:
16 sc x 16 sc rows on a 6mm crochet hook = 4” (10.16 cm) - after blocking

Always make a small swatch (4” x 4”) in the stitch pattern with your intended yarn and block it. This will give you an idea about about the finished size of the top and would also give you an idea about the amount of yarn needed for your project.

Bust Sizes:
This pattern is available in 9 sizes - XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). You may also customize the size and make a made to measure top with general instructions provided in the pattern.
