Honeycomb Trellis Cardigan
This Cropped Cardigan has a lovely honeycomb trellis pattern detail that adds texture and interest to a basic wardrobe piece. A small, but very practical detail is the pocket tucked away in the right bottom ribbing. Although the body of the cardigan is wide and loose-fitting, the bottom ribbing pulls the cardigan in just enough at the waist for a neat and fitted look.
I love this cardigan with a skirt or a dress, but it also looks great with high waisted pants.
It is worked from the top down in one piece, with short rows for shoulder shaping. The sleeves are picked up and work in the round. The front and neck band is picked up and worked at the end.
